Insurance & Financial
At Central Kentucky Cardiology we generally accept most insurance plans available in the central Kentucky area. If you have a question about whether or not Central Kentucky Cardiology is a member of the treatment panel of your insurance plan please ask at the time you make your first appointment. As you are ultimately responsible for your account it is for your benefit that you fully understand what your insurance benefits are. In some cases you might otherwise be responsible for a higher co-pay than anticipated.
At the time of your visit we will ask for your insurance information. If any of your personal or insurance information changes during the year kindly notify us of this when you return to the office.
We will file insurance claims (primary or supplemental) as a courtesy to you. Some insurance plans may require that you have a referral form from your primary care physician prior to being seen in the clinic. If this is the case this form must be presented to our office staff prior to your visit.
We accept various methods of payment, including cash, personal checks, money orders, Visa, and MasterCard. Short-term payment plans are available in special circumstances. Our experienced business office personnel will be happy to discuss your insurance and payment needs. If you have no insurance, you are responsible for payment at the time of service for the procedures performed, unless prior arrangements have been made.
